Success Coach for Solopreneurs

How did you become a Success Coach?

To answer this question, it’s probably best that I share with you a defining moment and resulting “compelling story” that brought me to where I am today, coaching people like you on exactly what to do to have a more successful business and make more money.

First, let me share a little background with you. In 2008, while on vacation, I experienced Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) for the first time. The instructor of my meditation class heard me complain about my ice cream cravings (ice cream being my favorite food...especially chocolate chip) and offered to help me reduce that craving. EFT was used to help me quickly (in a matter of minutes) get over my craving. It was truly astounding...all my interest in ice cream dissipated. I had never experienced anything like that before! Having several more amazing experiences with this phenomenal technique over the next few months, led me on quest to learn all I could about it.

Fast forward to a year later where I had a defining moment in my life happen. I had over 15 years of a successful career as a Business Development executive with lots of perks...the biggest being lots of vacation time. I started to realize that I was working to go on vacations, and there seemed something backwards about that. I knew I wanted to make a change and I knew I wanted to help people, as that was always the favorite part of my job.

Coming from a traditional background, I did what was expected. I applied and was accepted into one of the top graduate programs in the United States to become a therapist. Then I did the totally unexpected, and decided to not go to graduate school, but instead to become a full time EFT practitioner. My friends and family thought I was crazy as they had never heard of “tapping”. But it made so much sense to me. I loved how this technique was gentle and powerful at the same time, helping people make changes so quickly!

When I first started my business, there were days that I felt that I was being pulled through a keyhole. It was pretty scary to start a business during one of the worst economies ever. I’m not a “trust fund” baby or independently wealthy. But I set goals, worked with my mentors and cleared out any blocks that were holding me back to build a very successful business where I’m attracting my ideal clients, extraordinary opportunities, an abundance of money, and valuable resources into my life.

In just 18 short months, I’ve built a skyrocketing business and I’m helping other solopreneurs do the same.

Can you share an example of how tapping helped you?

Absolutely! When my business was very new, I set out the intention through the use of the Law of Attraction, that I wanted a way to differentiate my practice from so many others. A day later, I received a phone call from a woman who owned a radio station asking me if I wanted to host my own show. The business side of me thought this would be a fabulous opportunity. After I got off the phone and thought about it, all of these fears started popping up, making me feel like a “deer in the headlights”. I realized I had a fear of public speaking, which I never knew I had since I had never been asked to host a radio show before, or ever even been a guest on a radio show. I was acutely aware that if I didn’t change, this fear would hold both my business and me back. I worked with a practitioner and quickly cleared out that fear. I now fully enjoy having my own radio show with internationally known leading experts on it. Now, with a reputation as an in-demand speaker and Thought Leader, I'm frequently asked to be a guest on others shows or speak at live events. If I hadn’t removed that fear, I wouldn’t have had those opportunities.

Will you share some of your successes?

I’m very proud of all I’ve accomplished in a very short time. Here are just a few of my successes. I was a featured speaker for the 2011 Tapping World Summit, with a worldwide listening audience of over 300,000.

New York Times/Hay House best selling author, Sandra Anne Taylor, acknowledged me in her recent book about the Laws of Attraction. Also, I’ve spoken at numerous high profile events and workshops. And, most importantly, my biggest successes are what happens to all of the solopreneurs I work with- people like you - that I’ve helped get their expertise and gift out in a bigger way, giving them a happier and more financially successful life.

Can you explain your unique, proven system?

When my business was only a year old, success was already coming easily to me. Many entrepreneurs I met were struggling with their businesses. They would come to me and ask, “Kate, will you tell me how you’ve been able to be successful so quickly? Can you help me with my business?”. My answer was to share with them a technique I’ve developed where I combine my three biggest strengths. The first is my business expertise which means knowing how to quickly get more business. The second is the Law of Attraction, which I have studied extensively, which basically means what you think about is what you’ll attract into your life. The third is tapping, where I hold many high level certifications that only a handful of people in the world have this combination.

How are you different from other Business Coaches?

There are lots of wonderful experts out there in these different areas, and many of my clients have worked with them. The problem is there’s always a piece missing so my clients aren’t able to achieve all they want. For example, they’ll hear a great marketing idea, but fears will pop-up, so they procrastinate and aren’t able to complete this marketing idea. Instead, I offer a complete solution allowing for their ultimate success where I guide heart-centered entrepreneurs through an amazing process, basically taking them by the hand, to develop a concrete business plan and remove any subconscious blocks that might pop up.

The way it works is first I help my clients set up goals, Then I use my business expertise for the practical advice on how to get there, then use the Law of Attraction to attract these goals into their lives, and finally, tapping to clear out any limiting beliefs, negative thoughts or sabotaging behaviors that have been holding them back. My clients notice changes right away, some even report they’ve doubled their income in a very short time.

I'm very "results driven" because of my background in business development. This helps to quickly move my clients towards success using the combination of my tapping certifications, techniques I've developed, and business background.

I don’t work with corporations or mid-size companies, I only work with individuals who want to get their expertise out in a bigger way and release the blocks holding them back.

I’ve had a strong epiphany along this journey realizing how much I enjoy working with heart-centered entrepreneurs and hearing their successes. I love hearing how they’ve gotten new clients, filled a workshop they were giving and other wonderful stories. This has resulted in a strong commitment I’ve made to help solopreneurs make more money...FAST, through my individual coaching sessions, VIP days, workshops and my teleseries.

What happens if you haven’t worked with people in my field?

I have worked with hundreds and hundreds of clients in a wide scope of private practice and “independent” industries. Most likely I have worked with people in your field or in a similar field. However, if I haven’t, more than likely, the issues that are blocking you are very similar to issues other solopreneurs I’ve worked with have had. My clients find it very helpful that I quickly pick up on their blocks and know how to clear them out equally as fast. This results in them seeing immediate changes in their thoughts and actions. What type of personality do you work best with and what is expected of me?

What type of solopreneur is NOT suited for your programs?

Please know I’m very selective in who I work with and I cherry-pick my clients, choosing to (gently) turn away people who aren’t suited for my programs and won’t get the results for which they would have signed up for. (It wouldn’t be fair to them.)

This is who my programs are not right for: If you’re not ready to step up to the plate and do your work, being open and sharing what’s going on. If you’re looking for an “exit strategy” in case this doesn’t work. If working with me is creating a financial hardship for you (if you’re worried about paying your mortgage or rent, you won’t be able to give all of your attention to our work together- I’ll be here when you’re in a better financial situation and ready). Or if you’re a whiner or complainer and not willing to take responsibility for yourself.

   If you aren’t taking good care of yourself, you won’t have the focus of clarity to accomplish what you want. This is a CRUCIAL piece to get it right. In fact, this is what you can expect if you DON’T release the stress that is holding you back: less income (or less than you’d like), lots of half started and unfinished projects never getting completed, less confidence, less income...are you starting to get the picture?
